Jalopy is a game about driving and exploring the former Eastern Bloc. You fix your car, you drive, you fill it up, you replace parts, and you drive some more.
Set during the fall of communism, a pocket full of marks and a new world ahead of you, take a dilapidated hunk of metal and embark on a grand journey through the territories of the former Eastern bloc.

Developer Greg Pryjmachuk is no stranger to driving simulations as a former game developer working on the Formula 1 franchise, but his new vision is a far cry from the high performance racing car. Jalopy has been garnering much interest in the press over the recent weeks with Kotaku.co.uk naming it as one of the games they are most looking forward to in 2016. Subscriber channels have been busily making videos for YouTube and its tweeting well on Twitter too.

The unique concept of Jalopy features a fictional Laika 601 Deluxe motor car reminiscent of the much-maligned East German “Trabbie” and it will need tender love and care to keep it going on this memorable road trip!

Jalopy will be out tomorrow, April 22 via Steam Early Access for $12.99 (USD). Once the game is out of Early Access, later this year, the price will jump to $19.99. The game procedurally generates new routes so no two playthroughs are ever the same.
