Next week, Steam's 4X Fest will begin. This new Fest kicks off on August 11th at 10 am PT and runs until the 18th also at 10 am PT.
This Fest is for all games that include Explore, Expand, Exploit, and Exterminate gameplay mechanics. Those four are otherwise known as the "4X" genre. They're basically just strategy games, either turn-based or real-time.
You will be able to find deals and sales, which is just another term for "deals," plus possibly demos, maybe some developer streams, and all the usual Fest festivities.
