Plus an update for Deleted Scenes.

Valve rolled out a little update on November 29, 2023 for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes. These changes are mainly to bring Condition Zero up to feature parity with the recent Half-Life 25th Anniversary engine updates. These updates also include "all related fixes from Counter-Strike."

What isn't clear from today's update is whether or not there are still lingering compatibility or stability issues that would necessitate the use of the "steam_legacy" branch for Counter-Strike or Condition Zero. Obviously, if you find you are running into issues after tonight's update for either Half-Life, Counter-Strike, or Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, you should re-install the "steam_legacy" beta branch for these titles.
