  • Tickets for The International 5 Dota 2 Championship Sell Out in 10 Minutes

    Yesterday, Valve opened up the sale of tickets for The International 5 Dota 2 Championship at two separate times. The first was at 10AM PST and the second time was at 10PM PST.

    The $99 tickets sold out in just 10 minutes combined between the two sale periods. In the first batch, tickets were sold out in just 6 minutes. For the second batch, the tickets were gone in just 4 minutes.

    Last year, teams battled for a chance at the massive prize pool that surpassed $10 million (USD). I get the feeling that this year's event will be just as big, if not bigger.

        Ah dang it... This is looking like PAX now... And not like any other large-scale event where tickets sell out, and are sold online for a premium for that matter... Totally different matter... Totally...
