Sony to Retire Unused PlayStation 5 Feature that Encouraged Positivity

That headline almost reads as satire.

The statement by Sony, relayed by TheSixthAxis, says that since launch, the Accolades feature is one of the least used features on the platform. Accolades were a way of encouraging players to share a more positive...

Blizzard to Potentially Sell Overwatch Skins for $45

So long loot boxes, hello overpriced microtransactions.

When Overwatch 2 launches later this year, the loot boxes we have all come to know and hate will be no more. Replacing the RNG-filled boxes will be seasonal Battle Passes and apparently some optional cosmetic microtransactions that will allow you to, presumably, buy the skins you want without delay.

This all sounds super great, until you hear that Blizzard recently sent out a survey that seems to suggest they are...

The new system will let players report chat messages in multiplayer games, even in private servers.

A new user reporting system was just added to a pre-release build of Minecraft that has large swaths of the community crying foul. Steam Client Update for July 27, 2022

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
