  • Black Ops 6 Double XP Weekend and Nuketown 24/7 Now Live

The first weekend for Black Ops 6 is a pretty big one.
An overview of the Nuketown multiplayer map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

This weekend, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players will be able to earn double XP, double weapon XP, and double GobbleGum earn rate. In addition, Nuketown is back once again for another Call of Duty and it will be offered up in its own 24/7 playlist.

All of this comes alongside a relatively minor patch for the game across all platforms. This update addresses some stability issues and makes small adjustments to other aspects of the game. Sadly, it seems like the issue where settings are reset at every launch of the game has not yet been addressed.

The currently live double XP event for Call of Duty will end on November 4, so be sure to get in as many matches as you can over this longer than normal weekend (sorry EU, you don't get that extra hour since you already changed your clocks).

The version of Nuketown added in today's update is a graphically updated version of the original map. It's back to the classic 1950s style and still set in the Nevada testing site. In addition, there is also the map, Warhead, which is near the Nuketown area. Warhead is available in Face Off 6v6 or 2v2 Gunfight.

More content is on the way on November 14 with the launch of Season 01 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
