In a message posted to social media, Electronic Arts said that they will be revealing new details on the upcoming Battlefield community testing program. Those details will be shared at 5PM CET or 8AM PDT on February 3. Where they will be shared is not exactly clear, but presumably there will be information shared on social media and possibly the Battlefield website.
The next Battlefield title has been in development across several different EA owned studios for quite some time now. The first details about the new game were revealed back in September 2024 when it was shared that the new game would ditch Specialists and future warfare, with a promise to return to a "core" Battlefield experience.
At the same time of that initial reveal, EA said that there would be a community program that they were going to announce in 2025. It seems like that announcement is less than a day away now.
Let's see what EA, DICE, Movie, Criterion, Ripple Effect, and any other Battlefield studios have cooked up for community tests of Battlefield 6 (or whatever it ends up being called). We will obviously share more details once they are announced.
