The Resident Evil Requiem announcement includes a new trailer.

Capcom shared a few announcements at this past week's Nintendo Direct. The company says that Resident Evil Requiem is coming to the Switch 2. It will actually be joined by Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Resident Evil Village on February 27, 2026.

The announcement was accompanied by a new story trailer that shared a new look at some of the horrors that await Grace Ashcroft as she investigates the Wrenwood Hotel. The trailer shows off new antagonists, weapons, and locations.

That February 27th release date is for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam in addition to Switch 2. Also on the 27th, Capcom will release Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition for the Switch 2. This includes the base game and all additional content. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will also be released and include the Winters' expansion and the Trauma Pack.

Resident Evil wasn't the only reveal from Capcom this past week. The company also says that Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will hit the Switch 2 (as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam) on March 13, 2026.
