Pearl Abyss just released another behind-the-scenes video for their upcoming RPG, Crimson Desert. The latest video offers fans a look at the actors behind the voices. A good number of the actors working on Crimson Desert have been in several other high-profile titles. So chances are pretty good that you may know their voices, but you may not actually know their faces.
For instance, were you aware that Alec Newman is voicing the character of Kliff? You may not know the name, but you may recognize Newman's voice for his work as Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077, several voices (Geode, Tankwa, Hephaistos, and more) in Final Fantasy 14, as well as Deslin in The First Descendant.
A couple of other notable actors include Steward Scuadmore and Rebecca Hanssen. Scuadamore voices Oongka and previously had roles in Baldur's Gate 3 (Yurgir, Chop, and Fist Kyberos), Hitman 2 (The Maelstrom), and Final Fantasy 14 (Blackthorne). Hanssen voices Damiane in Crimson Desert and has worked on Stellar Blade (Eve), Baldur's Gate 3 (Alfira, Yenna, and more), and Dying Light: The Beast (Olivia).
Other actors announced for Crimson Desert include Peter Bramhill as Yann, Emily Barber as Naira, and Alastair Parker as Myurdin.
Crimson Desert is out on March 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic.
