Dying Light: The Beast is out on September 19, 2025, which gives you about two weeks to make sure your computers are up to snuff enough to play it. Techland released a double dose of system requirements last night that includes not only the system requirements for desktop PCs but also for gaming laptops!
First up, we have the system requirements for desktop PCs. The chart includes four tiers of requirements and settings ranging from Minimum at 1080p 30FPS at low all the way up to Ultra at 4K 60FPS on Ultra with ray tracing.
While the GPU requirements seem to be someone lenient, the same can't be said about the CPU requirements. Also, it is a bit odd that they recommend the Intel Arc B580 for both the Recommended and Ultra modes. It's also bizarre that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is recommended for High but the RTX 5070 is recommended for Ultra. Those two cards seem to perform nearly identically in ray tracing benchmarks, with many titles even favoring the RTX 4070 Ti.
