id Software, working with Nightdive Studios, just re-released Heretic + Hexen. Yep, it's a two-for-one special here with today's re-release, which includes improved performance for modern platforms, an enhanced soundtrack from Andrew Hulshult, cross-platform and local split-screen deathmatch, co-op, in-game mod support, and more.
Those who already own Heretic or Hexen already will get free upgrades to the new versions. Plus, you will still have access to the old versions if you decide you prefer the original releases more than these re-releases.
Heretic + Hexen is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Game Pass, and PC.
