  • Midnight Murder Club Now Available, Can Invite Up to Five Friends for Free

Inviting one friend is nice but what about inviting five friends?
The shadow a person in another room being cast against a door from a single light source.

A new competitive party game released into Early Access on PlayStation 5 and Steam this week for $19.99. The game is called Midnight Murder Club and it comes to you from Velan Studios, the studio that brought us the fun, but ill-fated, Knockout City.

Midnight Murder Club pits six friends against each other in the completely pitch black rooms of Wormwood Manor. Players are equipped only with a revolver and a flashlight where every shimmer of light is a new target.

The game offers several different game modes, which are detailed below.

    • Free-for-All - Six brave souls enter the mansion, and the player with the most kills when time runs out prevails among the rest.
    • Thief in the Night - Three fearless teams of two scour the mansion for valuable skulls to deposit into a vault. When the last vault closes, the team with the most value accumulated wins.
    • Team Deathmatch - Kill-or-be-killed with your team in a murderous stand-off.
    • Head Hunters - Two friends become foes as they hunt the remaining four players as they try to find and burn three hidden demonic totems in the haunting halls.
    • New Game Mode: Wildcards - Valiant attendees will play cards from their collection that change the rules for everyone in-game in wild new ways! From hijacking the toys that appear in vendors, to giving everyone super speed, to exploding into flames when you die—use these cards to show your wild side! Then, when the dust settles and the match is over, you’ll be gifted brand new cards to add to your collection giving you even more ways to change the game.
The cool thing here is that for the price of one copy of the game, again it's just $19.99, up to six people can play. The person that owns the game can send out invites to five of their friends who can join their game and play with them.

It seems the PSN requirement has led to multiple bad reviews again.
