The final update for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League came out. This update marks the end of support for the game who's biggest claim to fame is outliving Concord. The update includes the final additional content, the addition of an offline mode, and a final motion comic that wraps up the story.
It's that final cutscene that has the Internet all abuzz this evening. My apologies first and foremost to the handful of you still playing if you were spoiled about this ending here. However, if you don't want to play through the game to see how it ends (who can blame you?), then we've embedded it below courtesy of Worsty72 on YouTube.
The short of it is that all of the evil members of the Justice League were just clones created by Brianiac. The real Justice League members are still alive and well and not evil. When Batman got shot in the head and killed by Harley Quinn? It was just an evil clone getting shot.
Well, everyone is alive and well except for Wonder Woman. She was apparently the only member of the Justice League that wasn't captured and cloned so when she died in the story, that was it.
Of course, if Rocksteady ever wanted to bring Wonder Woman back in any future title they could. They could just pull in a Wonder Woman from an alternate universe, or claim "oh she was actually cloned but we never knew." Hell, they could just never acknowledge anything from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League because like all other video games and comics none of it matters.
