BioWare is already shifting its focus on the next game.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard just released this past week on October 31st and what you see is all you're going to get. BioWare, in an interview with creative director John Epler with Rolling Stone, it's said that the studio has no plans for DLC for this Dragon Age title and is instead turning their attentions to working on Mass Effect 5.
Obviously this may be disappointing to some fans who have fond memories of the Trespasser DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition or the Awakening DLC for Dragon Age: Origins. It is understood that while there may not be any major DLC releases for Veilguard, the game will still be supported by BioWare with quality-of-life improvements and bug fix updates. There may be smaller content updates released, but don't expect to see new narrative content added.
A lack of expansions may not be too bad though, as it's estimated that Veilguard will take you at least 60 hours to play through if you do just the main story and side content.
BioWare's previous title before Veilguard was Mass Effect: Andromeda. That game also famously did not receive any expansion or major DLC release. However, the decision to cancel planned DLC for Andromeda seems to be more of a result of BioWare having to work on a number of updates for the game that addressed a wide range of technical issues that plagued that game for quite a while.
Despite what you may think of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the latest title seems to be doing quite well for BioWare and Electronic Arts. On Steam alone, Veilguard became EA's biggest ever launch for a single-player title. Veilguard is also available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. It's unknown how well the game sold on platforms outside of Steam but chances are very high that the most copies were sold on PlayStation and Xbox, far surpassing the numbers on Steam.
I've been casually playing through Veilguard now since release. While I am maybe only about 14 hours in to the game, I am mostly enjoying my time with it. There are definitely some issues with the writing and some story beats though. I might have more to expand on in a week or so should the opportunity arise.

by Shawn ZipayAn improvement over the original but with some severe performance woes.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is expected to be released on March 22 but the reviews have already started to pour in. The reviews have been extremely favorable for Dragon's Dogma 2 so far, with most outlets saying that this sequel improves upon the original. However, some of the flaws of the first game are not addressed in this sequel and the performance across all platforms, especially on PC, leaves a lot to be desired....-
