Sony is set to elevate their PC games presence to the next level when Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut launches on May 16. Not only will the PC version support cross-play for the game's co-op Legends mode, but it will also offer support for PlayStation Trophies.
Support for cross-play and PlayStation Trophies will be done through the new PlayStation Overlay, debuting in Ghost of Tsushima. This overlay, accessible by pressing Shift+F1, will allow you to access your PlayStation Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile. Obviously, to make use of this feature you will need to have a PlayStation Network account or you can create a new account. Sony says that the use of the PlayStation overlay is optional, unless you want to play Legends online (Legends can still be played solo if desired).
Cross-play support will let PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 play together in the game's Legends mode. You will even be able to use voice chat to communicate with your buddies on other platforms!
PlayStation Trophies earned on PC are the same as the Trophies you can earn on PlayStation 5. Sony says that the PC version will still have full support for Steam Achievements and achievements on the Epic Games Store.
The one thing not mentioned is support for cross-save. This would allow someone that owns Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut on PlayStation 5 and PC to swap which platform they're playing on and pick up right where they left off. Given that Sony locks cloud saves behind a PlayStation Plus subscription on PlayStation consoles, it is unlikely that cross-save will be supported.
Sony did also share the PC system requirements for Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut.

Nixxes is leading the development on the PC port of the game, which should mean that it will be a mostly solid release. The PC version will support ultra-wide resolutions including 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 for triple monitor setups.

I recently started Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut on PlayStation 5 and I just have to say that the presentation and use of colors is exceptional. It's such a stylish game, the story has been solid (so far), the combat is solid, and it has overall been a lot of fun to play so far.
