Migrate now before it's too late.

If you haven't yet migrated your Oculus account to a Meta account yet, the clock is officially ticking. Meta announced that those who fail to migrate to a Meta account by March 29 will lose access to previously purchased games, in-app content, achievements, and store credit.

This migration has been available for a long while now. The name change from Facebook to Meta took place in 2021 and with it came an announcement that they are also ditching the Oculus branding. In June 2022, Meta announced that you could create a Meta account, which allowed users to create and log in to an account that was in no way related to a Facebook account. Meta even stopped letting people log into their Oculus accounts back in January 2023. The migration process has been available now for almost two years. If you haven't done so yet, you have just three weeks left to migrate over to keep everything you had on your Oculus account.

The migration process is pretty damn simple. Just register for a Meta account if you do not yet already have one. Make sure to use the same email you used when you created an Oculus account. Once you do this, you should be able to see and access all of the games, other purchases, friends list, achievements, and store credit that you had on your old Oculus account.

Even if you aren't actively using your VR device right now, it would be wise to carry out this quick migration process so that everything is there for you when or if you return.
