Play as Ada Wong today in the new Separate Ways DLC for Resident Evil 4. This story DLC is out now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Follow Ada's story that intertwines with Leon Kennedy's story as he searches for the president's missing daughter. This DLC release is accompanied by the arrival of the free Mercenaries update for the base game that adds Ada Wong and Albert Wesker as playable characters.

Just like with the base game, Separate Ways has been remade from the original Separate Ways. This means that when compared to the original Separate Ways, today's release alters various elements and expands several gameplay areas.

In Separate Ways, Ada will be trying to infiltrate the village run by Los Iluminados to track down and bring back an item known as "the Amber" back to Albert Wesker. As her story plays out at the same time as Leon's there will be various threads from Leon's campaign tied up in Ada's campaign.

The exhilarating gameplay of Resident Evil 4 returns in Separate Ways, empowering players to overcome the horrors that await with precise firearms, intense knife combat, stealth attacks, finishing moves, and more. Separate Ways also introduces a new feature that takes the game’s fast-paced action to a whole new level. Ada can now wield her signature Grappling Gun in battle to launch into melee takedowns from a distance. She can also employ this versatile tool to traverse vast distances and surmount obstacles that would otherwise be impassable.
Separate Ways will set you back $9.99 (USD). This DLC is not included in the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4. However, there is currently a sale underway for Resident Evil 4 where you can save up to 34%.

Capcom officially announced Resident Evil 3 remake today. It's just called Resident Evil 3, just as the Resident Evil 2 remake was just Resident Evil 2. Confusing for us older gamers? Yeah, just a bit.
