You'll need an RTX 4080 to play this comfortably at 4K, 60FPS at Ultra settings.

Naughty Dog's Jonathon Dornbush took to the PlayStation Blog to reveal some of the special features that only PC users will experience when The Last of Us Part 1 is released on March 28, 2023.

At release, PC owners of The Last of Us Part 1 will be able to enjoy a couple of different scaling methods, those being AMD FSR 2.2 and Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution. The PC version of the game also features VSync and a nebulous "frame rate cap options." Of course, there are also the typical PC features like adjustable texture quality, shadow quality, reflection quality, ambient occlusion quality, and more. Yes, ultrawide support is included out of the gate for those rocking 21:9 ultrawide and 32:9 super ultrawide aspect ratios.

As has been common with most of the PlayStation game releases on PC, The Last of Us Part 1 will feature full DualSense controller support while wired. This includes the inclusion of haptic feedback and dynamic triggers. Other controllers like the DualShock 4 and (probably) Xbox controllers are also going to be supported. Keyboard and mouse support is also included, as you would expect. You will be able to fully remap your controls to your liking. You can even have an adaptive mode that allows you to combine keyboard and controller inputs.

Various bug fixes and improvements from the PlayStation 5 version are also included, but specifics on these changes were not provided.

Coming from the PS5 release of the game will be the full campaign, the Left Behind DLC chapter, Speedrun Mode, Permadeath Mode, and Photo Mode. All of the accessibility features found in the console release are also going to be present in this PC release.

Naughty Dog also shared what sort of hardware you will need to run The Last of Us Part 1 at various PC settings. The suggested hardware configurations go from what you'd need to achieve 30FPS / 720p at Low preset settings all the way up to Ultra running at 60FPS / 4K.

You can see these requirements in the image below or you can see them in text form further down should the image not load for you.
