The web slinger swings onto PC in just under a month from now.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered

Insomniac Games, by way of the PlayStation Blog, just dished out some details about the upcoming PC release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. The game, which is set to be released on August 12 will include a number of new or enhanced features in the PC release that are not found in the PlayStation releases of the game.

Like the PlayStation 5 release of Spider-Man Remastered, the PC release will include ray-traced reflections for those of you with the hardware to support them. Unlike the PS5 version, the PC release will include various quality option for the ray-tracing, including a higher-quality mode that offers even more detail beyond what was seen before.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on PC also supports both Nvidia DLSS and Nvidia DLAA. The first will let those of you with somewhat slower cards to increase the framerate. The second will let those with powerful cards to increase the image quality beyond what is typical.

The PC release will support a variety of display ratios. Those with ultrawide 21:9 and 32:9 setups will be supported. There will also be Nvidia Surround multi-monitor support, so you can really immerse yourself in the form-fitting spandex suit of Spider-Man.

There will also be a bunch of additional customizable graphical settings. These include SSAO, texture filtering, level of detail quality, shadow quality, and more. You can play the game in windowed, full-screen, or exclusive full-screen.

Marvel's Spider-Man will also include support for several different peripherals as well as supporting custom control schemes. Those with a DualSense get to experience adaptive trigger feedback and the haptics. There's customizable support for those who prefer mouse and keyboard play. Unspecified accessibility features will also be included. Finally, there will be cloud saves and achievements on both the Steam and Epic Games Store versions.

Insomniac Games also provided a look at the minimum and recommended system requirements for Marvel's Spider Man Remastered. The chart, seen below, offers an idea of what sort of resolution and performance you'll be able to play at with various hardware requirements.

Finally, everyone that pre-orders the game will get a special item pack. This includes three early unlocks of the following Spider-Man suits: Iron Spider Suit, Spider-Punk Suit, and Velocity Suit. The item pack also includes an early unlock of the Spider-Drone combat gadget and five extra skill points for early upgrades.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered will be out on August 12. It includes the base game along with the three-chapter DLC called The City That Never Sleeps.
