Omega Rugal will be a new and free DLC character added to The King of Fighters XV on April 14, 2022.
Rugal was the "overwhelmingly strong boss character" from The King of Fighters '95. He is a "dark arms merchant of death" that used to rule "the world's black market and was never shy about digging his fangs into any fighter that dared challenge him." He was given a second chance at life thanks to "the power of Orochi." Now he's got a third chance "due to Verse's influence."
None of that makes sense to me but fans might know just what I meant.
There will also be a new "Boss Challenge" game mode added. Take on Omega Rugal CPU and get access to "fun content" like his Omega Armor costume, a new stage, and new music.
