Thomas Gerbaud, the world director for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, provides us all a look at some of the survivors of The City. We get a look at how these people have "come together to create a new way of life in the face of the infection."
Specifically, we get a little look at the world and these survivors through the eyes of the player-controlled character, Aiden Caldwell. We also are provided a little look at how Aiden's actions will have consequences on these survivors and their everyday lives.
We're also given a look at the Peacekeepers, a group that has a "strict adherence to law, order, and hierarchy."
Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4, 2022 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch via the power of the Cloud.
For Thomas, the aim was for players to get a true sense of the world’s people, rules, and way of life from their own exploration of and interactions with it. Every location is filled with tiny details that make the world feel more textured and complex while helping players comprehend the many facets of The City.
