ASUS and Noctua just announced that they have teamed up to create a new and rather unique new GPU based off of the Nvidia RTX 3070 cards. The ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition combines a 3070 with Noctua fans, specifically two NF-A12x25 120mm fans, and a custom heatsink that has been co-engineered by Noctua.

This GPU is said to reduce noise levels by up to 15dB(A) in certain conditions. A comprehensive breakdown of noise and cooling comparisons can be found here. Naturally, this card sports Noctua's iconic brown and beige color scheme for the cooling solution. It also features dual BIOS for those that need that sort of thing.

The 3070 Noctua Edition is slated to be available starting mid-October 2021. Of course, actually finding one in stock anywhere will be near impossible as this chip shortage rages on around the world. Neither ASUS nor Noctua have announced a suggested retail price for this. The MSRP for a regular RTX 3070 begins around $500 (USD), so don't expect to see this going for less than that. Taking into account the lack of supply versus the increased demand, plus the uniqueness of this card, I would be surprised if you saw this available for anything even close to $500.

There will also be a factory overclocked edition of the RTX 3070 Noctua Edition also released in the future.
