Switch owners will finally be able to play the next piece of The Outer Worlds DLC in about a week's time. On September 8, Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division will release The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos DLC. This is the second and final piece of DLC for the game that was released previously on other platforms.

This DLC is a big murder mystery that you are tasked with solving. This DLC increases the level cap by 3, adds new weapons and armor, and includes more skill customization options.

You can pick it up from the Nintendo eShop for $14.99 (USD) on its own or through The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass.

Murder on Eridanos adds an enticing interstellar whodunit for players to solve. Rizzo’s spokesperson, Halcyon Helen, has been discovered dead and it’s up to you to untangle this web of mystery, deceit, and secrecy. You’ll have to uncover crime scene clues and unlock different quest routes with a brand new gadget, the Discrepancy Amplifier, and track down a plethora of suspects with larger-than-life personalities.

Murder on Eridanos also raises the level cap by 3, adds new science weapons, armor sets as well as more skill customization options.

DLC for The Outer Worlds requires the base game and the player will have needed to progress past Monarch to access the Murder on Eridanos content.
