On September 15, those within 22 supported countries that subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate will soon have access to over 150 games within the cloud. Microsoft says that you will be able to play titles such as Grounded, Forza Horizon 4, Battletoads, Untitled Goose Game, and Destiny 2 through the cloud to your preferred mobile device. That is assuming your preferred mobile device is Android based.

Just as the case is with Game Pass for Console and PC, the selection of titles will grow and change over time. The initial list of the 150+ titles can be found below if you would rather just skip ahead to that.

For those who do not know, cloud gaming through Game Pass will allow you to play on the go on your Android phone or tablet. From there, you can continue your progress on the game you started on your Xbox One or PC because your saves and progress are tied to your Microsoft account. Of course, that works in the opposite direction as well. Start a game on PC and then continue on your Android device for when you need to hit the road for a bit.

Microsoft even brings up a good point about some games like Sea of Thieves. You can have some players on the Xbox, PC, and on mobile devices all playing at the same time together. All Xbox features are supported including friends, achievements, voice chat, cloud saves, and playing together with cross-play supported titles.

This cloud gaming for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also "opens up the world of Xbox to those who may not own a console at all." This seems to fall in line with Microsoft's new approach to the Xbox ecosystem. It's less about selling consoles and more about getting users attached to their services like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Microsoft is still currently offering Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 (USD) for new subscribers. From there, you can continue for $15 per month for Ultimate, $10 for Xbox Game Pass for Console, or $5 for Game Pass for PC. Please note that the $5 for PC is ending this week. After this limited time price is up, it will also jump to $10 per month just like Game Pass for Console. As a little note, I've gotten the $1 offer for Ultimate a few times now. For some reason it still let me purchase a month for $1 despite using the offer in the past. Worth a shot if you want to give it another go for cheap.
