A not insignificant number of independent game studios announced today the formation of the Guerrilla Collective. This group of publishers and developers are said to be "dedicated to bringing the experience of exciting news and reveals home to viewers globally." The Guerrilla Collective joins forces with The PC Gaming Show, and the Future Games Show in participating in a three day long celebration of games and new announcements.
The event filled weekend begins on June 6. At 10AM (PT), the first ever Guerrilla Collective Live will air. Hosted by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller, this show will run through to 12PM (PT) where The PC Gaming Show returns to tell you about, well, games that are coming out on the PC specifically. After that, the Future Games Show begins at 2:30PM (PT), and will show off additional game reveals, host developer interviews, and have some "wholesome gaming chatter."
Wholesome gaming chatter? Does such a thing even exist? I guess we'll find out.
This won't be the only time we'll hear from the Guerrilla Collective though! The group will also participate in IGN's Summer of Gaming event in June and GameSpot's Play for All event.
You will be able to watch Guerrilla Collective Live on Twitch on June 6 at 10AM (PT; 1PM ET). The group is still actively taking submissions from teams that are interested in having their games considered for the live event. Those interested should submit their info here.
