Starting today, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can placate their inner desire to haul cargo in a big rig. Truck Driver is here to make that fantasy a reality and does indeed include support for steering wheels and also has proper enhancements for the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
In Truck Driver, you assume the role of a truck driver (go figure) and build up your career. During the game you will work with and encounter all different kinds of people. By completing jobs, you will earn trust from the locals, which then results in you getting even more jobs. These new jobs will earn you more trust and then more jobs. It's a big circle of trust to jobs to trust that may never end.
In addition to the variety of people you'll meet, you'll also encounter a wide variety of cargo to haul. You will also drive through a variety of open world locations. You'll drive through countryside areas and towns of various sizes.
There is also apparently some variety tossed in to the game. By that I mean the game will sometimes give you the wrong cargo to deliver or they don't give clear instructions on where to pick up or deliver the cargo. Variety is the spice of life after all, right? At least it's not just a constant string of perfect deliveries here like in some other games.
For you PC owners, you may be happy to hear that Truck Driver is coming to Steam on November 11.
