On August 6, 11 bit studios will release the Fading Embers DLC as part of their This War of Mine: Stories series. Players will again dive into a new narrative-driven scenario where they will play as Anja. She, like many others, lives in a warzone and carries a heavy burden. And just like many others, she battles with herself on what is more important: The survival of human legacy or the survival of man.
Fading Embers will be released on Steam, GOG, Humble, and Mac Appstore on August 6, 2019 for just $3.99 (USD). Fading Embers is also included as part of the Season Pass for This War of Mine: Stories. The Season Pass is also quite affordable, retailing for just $6.99 and offering access to Fading Embers and the two previous episodes of Father's Promise and The Last Broadcast.
A big focus of this content is the non-linear approach to the gameplay and the main theme. This is outlined by Tomasz Kisilewicz, the lead artist behind the Fading Embers DLC.
