Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered

Saber Interactive announced an HD re-release of the action-adventure title that was a bit of a sleeper hit after it was initially released in 2009. I am of course talking about Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which was originally released on platforms such as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, and PC. Today, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered was officially announced and will be released later this year to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the first film's release.

The game still offers up the unique story that was written by Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis. If you haven't played it yet, but are a fan of the franchise, you're definitely going to want to give this a go when it comes out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC via the Epic Games Store. I am assuming features like the online four-player co-op will be included, but the announcement doesn't state one way or another.

The original release generated generally favorable reviews from most publications. It settled in at about a 79 average on Metacritic for the Xbox 360 release.
