Richard Rouse III (The Suffering, State of Decay) unveiled his new game today, The Church in the Darkness. The Church in the Darkness takes a look at the real-life cult movements of the 1970s. The game features the voice talents of Ellen McLain (GLaDOS) and John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper in Team Fortress 2). The two will voice the cult leaders in the game and both are also helping to compose the game's soundtrack.No one is forced to join a cult. It welcomes you. It understands you. It envelops you until the words become more than truth―they make you whole.
Persecuted for their radical beliefs, Rebecca and Isaac Walker lead their people into the jungles of South America. There, in the isolation of Freedom Town, they can finally escape the injustice of the US and follow the true path of the righteous… but an outsider is in their midst.
