Sony attempts to justify this move by claiming it's a "natural direction" in order to "adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs."...

This is Diablo 4 at its best. I mean it this time. For real.

Returning to the world of Sanctuary for this latest chapter feels like a true homecoming for those of us who have spent hundreds of hours traversing its dark and unforgiving landscapes since the base game launched back in 2023. Giving Call of Duty a run for its money.

On the official Helldivers 2 Discord, the developers...

Battlefield 6 Leak Shows Return of Battlefield 1 Mud Buildup Feature

    War is messy.

In Battlefield 1, there was an immersive feature that you may not have really thought much about. When crawling through trenches and across the muddy terrain, your weapons would start to accumulate a thick layer of muck and grime. It had no actual gameplay impact but it was certainly a neat little touch that helped to make the player feel more immersed in the game.

This mud buildup feature was sadly absent from Battlefield 2042. Of course, there were a lot...

We Could Have Had a Call of Duty Film Directed by Steven Spielberg

    But Activision got cold feet.

Oh, what could have been. Paramount and Activision are currently working together to create a film based off of the popular Call of Duty franchise. There is no word on who will direct the film, nor who will star in it, nor even if it will follow the plot of any of the games or be its own thing.

Now we're learning that prior to the deal being made with Paramount, Activision was allegedly in talks with direct Steven Spielberg for a Call of...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
