As a quick reminder: Microsoft plans to spend $190 billion on AI in 2026. In 2025, the company spent $80 billion...

Starting January 2028, Sony will no longer produce physical discs for new PlayStation game releases. All games released in January 2028 and after will be available only through digital stores such as the PlayStation Store.

Sony attempts to justify this move by claiming it's a "natural direction" in order to "adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs."...

The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PC Requirements are Insane

    Older hardware need not apply.

The PC system requirements for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle were finally revealed and it's definitely not great news for anybody on older hardware. The system requirements are pretty close to what I would consider to be insane. The game apparently features zero support for GPUs that predate hardware accelerated ray tracing. The CPU requirements aren't much better either, with only the minimum requirements suggesting a CPU below a Ryzen 7 7700....

Continuing the 30th anniversary celebration for PlayStation, Sony just released a new trailer celebrating the past 30 years of play. The video showcases some of Sony's long history of PlayStation titles, even though the focus is clearly skewed towards the PlayStation 3 and newer.

A sequel to Watch Dogs: Legion is apparently in the works but it's not coming as a video game. According to Eurogamer, it is instead a new choose-your-own adventure drama series from Audible.

The new audio drama series is called Watch Dogs: Truth and is said to be a follow-up to 2020's Watch Dogs: Legion. The story once again follows the London-based division of DeadSec. At least one prominent character returns from the game and that is Bagley, the...

First Stalker 2 Update Includes Over 650 Fixes

Still no fixes for A-Life being mostly broken.

The first patch from GSC Game World for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl came out earlier today. It's a big one and it arrives a little over a week since its fun but very flawed launch. On Steam alone this 1.0.1 update clocks in at 13.7 GB and includes over 650 fixes and improvements. The update should also be out for the Xbox version now. I'm reading that the patch isn't out just yet for the Microsoft Store / PC Game Pass version quite...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
