MachineGames had a double announcement today at gamescom. First, they showed off a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of the Giants DLC.

This DLC will release on September 4th. Players will "dive beneath the bustling city of Rome(...) to uncover the dark secrets of the Nephilim Order."

PlayStation 5 owners that purchased the $100 Premium Edition of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can now play the game. Those that purchased just the base version of the game will have to wait until April 17.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on PlayStation 5 on April 17, 2025. The game, which was released in December 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, ended up on several "Best of" and "Game of the Year" lists as well as being awarded the D.I.C.E. Adventure Game of the Year.

Despite the need for hardware raytracing on PC, and much to my surprise, the game actually performs exceptionally well even on the Xbox Series X|S.

The PC system requirements for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle were finally revealed and it's definitely not great news for anybody on older hardware. The system requirements are pretty close to what I would consider to be insane. The game apparently features zero support for GPUs that predate hardware accelerated ray tracing. The CPU requirements aren't much better either, with only the minimum requirements suggesting a CPU below a Ryzen 7 7700....

Nvidia released the new 566.14 Game Ready Driver today for those using their GPUs. This new driver adds in support for games like Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

This means there is day-one support for technologies such as Nvidia DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and ray-tracing. Not all of the games support all of these technologies, so let's let Nvidia...

Bethesda and MachineGames just released a new and extended deep dive gameplay video for their upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
