    Some new single player campaign footage for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was shown today during Microsoft's gamescom 2014 media briefing. In the footage, a bridge is destroyed and virtual characters are shot.

        Wow. After all these years the AI is worse than before. They just stood there.

        I know thats not the focus of this thing, its supposed to be the gadgets and "action", but it was pretty bad.

        Oh well, Im sure it will be great for most.

          I thought about it when I first saw it but I see them moving a bit more than they used to. I mean think about it. How often do you try to stay on the high ground while fighting, which is what those guys on the truck did. Additionally, some were behind cover and "realistically" probably could not see the guy that just jumped ten feet in the air and was standing on the vehicle next to them given their position/sight lines.

          It could easily go either way from being somewhat sensible AI to, as you said, just being pretty bad depending on how you look at it and how it plays out once the game is actually released.

            Yeah, I thought about the elevation thing too and they did move more.

            IDK. Besides people will just say its single player and no one cares about that anyway, so maybe I was too surprised.
