No seriously, this better be the best looking game I've ever laid eyes on because these minimum requirements surpass even those found for Crysis 3 (2GB memory, GTS 450/Radeon HD5770, Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz/Athlon64 2.7 GHz). Ghosts' minimum requirements surpass those found in Battlefield 4's minimum requirements and even some of BF4's recommended specs.
I wouldn't want to think that the game was just poorly optimized or anything.

And, Windows 7 or later. Because it's Directx 11 required.
This is probably the first major title I've seen that requires DirectX 11 instead of simply supports it.
I'm 50-50. I half think this is the 'recommended' that accidentally got released as 'required.' The other half thinks that it's pretty poorly optimized. To be honest I think it's both, but I wouldn't be surprised either way.
Also, if there was any mix up, then nobody on the official CoD site has bothered to change or refute them: http://community.callofduty.com/comm...s#.UmizUhD8wzI
Remember when CoD2 came out, and it looked fantastic, and it ran well on almost anything?
