No more useless stat padding for you.
Battlefield 6 players may, or may be happy to hear that a recent backend change to the game removed bot kills from your K/D ratio. This information was shared by Battlefield Bulletin.
Since launch, those playing against bots either intentionally or not, had their career stats skewed pretty heavily due to those almost "free" kills against enemy AI players. Thanks to a recent change, player stats no longer count those bot kills and should make your career stats far more accurate to how you actually perform in real player engagements.
Right now, it seems like this only impacts the "kill" part of the K/D ratio as deaths at the hands of bots are still counted. Whether or not this is intentional is anybody's guess.
Sure, people who only play to have a high K/D ratio are probably furious right now, but maybe they should shut up, get good, and play the objective instead. Nobody should care about their K/D ratio in a game like Battlefield where playing the objective is far more important.

Well, soon ended up being sooner than anybody thought because the update is now live for every platform save for the Stadia release. The update is over 30GB in size, depending on platform. The good news though is that it includes several hundred bug fixes for all platforms.
It seems as though PC Gamer ran the numbers on how many fixes...-
