A huge multiplayer update arrives on March 12 for Teardown on Steam. Tuxedo Labs says this is the "largest free update since Teardown's launch." This update will allow friends to destroy the world and heist together through the entire campaign.
In addition to trying to work together to complete the campaign levels, the game will also feature plenty of PvP opportunities through community-made and developer-crated multiplayer game modes. The modding tools for Teardown allows for players to create maps, weapons, modes, and more that can be shared.
The online multiplayer update supports up to 12 players. In addition to the cooperative heisting in the game's campaign, classic multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag will be supported. A Sandbox Mode is also available if you just feel like creating chaos.
The multiplayer update arrives March 12 on PC and later this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Later this year will be another update that adds "high-octane multiplayer racing" to Teardown.
With the entire base game’s map collection, two brand-new, dual-sided arenas, and an expansive library of community-made maps on the other end of your sledgehammer, the possibilities are nearly limitless!
