The second major expansion for Diablo 4 made its public debut this past week at The Game Awards. Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred continues where the game's previous expansion, Vessel of Hatred, left off.
As the next chapter in the "Age of Hatred" saga, we're up against the Lord of Hatred himself, Mephisto. Set to launch on April 28, 2026, the new expansion will include a continuation of the campaign story, two new classes, "sweeping gameplay evolutions," and a trip to "Sanctuary's oldest, most storied region: Skovos."
The new classes include the Paladin and a second, still unrevealed class. Those looking to play as a Paladin can do so immediately when you pre-purchase the Lord of Hatred expansion. In addition to immediate access to the Paladin, all pre-purchases get an extra Stash Tab, 2 additional Character Slots, and 3 World of Warcraft decor items.
