2K detailed plans for what players can expect through some of PGA Tour 2K25's post-launch Seasons. This includes the addition of new, free courses. Other new content includes new quests and challenges, increases to Evolution Tiers in Equipment Progression, as well as leaderboard resets.
Beyond these seasonal content updates, 2K will offer seasonal Clubhouse Passes to players. There will be both a free track and a paid track in these Clubhouse Passes, just as every "Season Pass" or "Battle Pass" to ever exist. Each Season in PGA Tour 2K25 will be related to real-life golf events when it makes sense.
PGA TOUR 2K25 Seasons will be tied to one of the five MyPLAYER Archetypes. Season 1 will tie into the featured Technician Archetype, providing unique quests and rewards. The Greenskeeper, Magician, Powerhouse and Sculptor Archetypes will be featured throughout the remainder of planned Seasons. Each Archetype lends itself to different playstyles, and each Season will give players a reason to try them all out. Additionally, Season 2 will deliver the iconic “Home of Golf,’ The Old Course at St. Andrews Links, free to all players.
Within each Clubhouse Pass, players will be able to unlock skills that are only available within that particular Clubhouse Pass. The base Shot Type is unlocked as a Free Tiered Reward, with respective Skill Boosts to that Shot Type being Premium Tiered Rewards.
Players can progress through each Clubhouse Pass at their own pace, even after the release of subsequent Seasons, and Premium rewards may be unlocked retroactively at any time for a Clubhouse Pass up to the current tier of progression.
