Bandai Namco says that Tekken 8 will be out on January 26, 2024. The latest installment in this long-running fighting game franchise is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
A new trailer for Tekken 8 gave fans the first look at Arcade Quest, a totally new mode not yet seen in the previous games. Arcade Quest is a new single player mode that allows players to create and customize their own avatar. These avatars can visit different arcades to participate in matches that have been "designed to improve their play and teach new techniques."
In addition to the new game mode, this latest Tekken 8 trailer includes a look at some returning fan-favorite fighters. We got a glimpse of updated looks and moves for Kuma, Leo, Shaheen, Steve, Dragunov, and Yoshimitsu. Players will also be able to deeply customize their favorite fighters, with the addition of new options to change colors and adjust the size and position of accessories.
