You should probably stay off the Internet for a while if concerned.

With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom being just a week and a half away from release, it stands to reason that some people are getting their copies earlier than they should. It also stands to reason that because people are getting copies early, they want to share the game with others for a quick 15 minutes of fame.

Well, this obviously means that there are now spoilers out there for Tears of the Kingdom. They're out there, hiding in the shadows and just waiting for an opportunity to ruin your anticipation if you so much as look at a social media user the wrong way.

The obvious solution is to keep offline as much as possible until you can play the game for yourself on May 12th. The leaks have been circulating at the usual places such as Discord, 4Chan, Reddit, and Twitter. Even if you go into a totally unrelated discussion thread, there's a chance someone will just randomly blurt out a spoiler and ruin your fun. You can try to reduce your chances of being spoiled, at least on Twitter, but setting up filters that mute Tweets containing specific keywords.

These leaks are from those playing the game early due to early copies being sold or potentially from review copies that have gone out. These leaks are in addition to the earlier leaks that came from someone who leaked scans of the Tears of the Kingdom art book through Discord.

I only mention the early spoilers floating around for Tears of the Kingdom because it's easily one of the most anticipated releases in quite some time, at least for Nintendo fans.
