Capcom revealed a new trailer for Resident Evil 4 during the PlayStation State of Play showcase. Included in this new trailer is the latest look at Leon S. Kennedy. Plus, we get a look at multiple new environments, Jack Krauser, multiple different enemies, and more.
Interestingly, the trailer shows off how familiar places and faces have been reworked for the remake. There seems to be a much greater emphasis on Luis in the remake. He seems to accompany Leon far more than he ever did in the original game.
Capcom also revealed that The Mercenaries game mode will return with this remake of Resident Evil 4. However, The Mercenaries won't be included at launch. It will arrive as free DLC some time after the game itself is released.
A demo for Resident Evil 4 will be coming "soon." There was no release date revealed for this demo but given that Resident Evil 4 launches on March 24, I'd say that it's safe to expect the demo to drop any time over the next month period.
During their harrowing escape from a small European village in thrall to Las Plagas, Leon and his ward Ashley Graham must navigate multiple environments controlled by the cult of Los Iluminados. Across a sprawling castle, dilapidated mines, and more, they encounter even more infected villagers, deranged cultists, and insidious enemies empowered by the Las Plagas parasite. Leon and Ashley must navigate these foes while also deciphering the arcane designs of the hidden mechanisms, esoteric puzzles, and tantalizing secrets. The duo’s path to safety also intersects with the calculating special forces operative Major Jack Krauser.
