Blizzard's chief legal officer Claire Hart has resigned from the company right as they are in the midst of several legal battles. The announcement came via LinkedIn on Monday. Hart says that her final day with the company was Friday, September 17.

Hart parts ways with Blizzard after being there for three years. Prior to that, she worked for Google for roughly a decade. A reason for her departure was not stated on her brief posting. She does say that she will be taking a short break before she makes her next move.

I'm sure it's totally fine losing your top lawyer right as you are being investigated by the SEC, your CEO gets subpoenaed, you're facing multiple lawsuits from investors, you're facing a lawsuit from California, and you lost several employees from resignation or being let go due to their involvement in company-wide sexual harassment and discrimination. Right? Yeah... I'm sure there's absolutely no panic going on right now at Activision Blizzard.
