A day after it was revealed that Ben "DrLupo" Lupo was making the jump from Twitch to YouTube Gaming comes another major announcement. Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar will also soon make the jump from streaming on Twitch to exclusively streaming on YouTube Gaming. Betar says that his first stream on YouTube Gaming will take place on September 2.

In making the switch, Betar is leaving behind over 7 million Twitch followers in favor of his 3.8 million YouTube subscribers. As is the case with DrLupo's acquisition, YouTube has declined to comment on the terms of their deal with Betar. If you think that these hugely popular streamers are leaving Twitch "just because" then I have a bridge to sell you. We saw the same thing happen a number of times with Mixer back when that was still around.

As part of an interview with Business Insider, Betar says that this move will allow him to spend more time with his family.

Similar to what they did for DrLupo, Twitch tweeted out a short montage of TimTheTatman and offered their thanks for the time he spent on their platform.
