The Warclaw is a new and somewhat fearsome feline mount for Guild Wars 2. Slated to arrive on February 26, this mount is obtainable via the World vs. World PvP mode. However, once you earn it, you can summon it anywhere and everywhere that other mounts are able to be summoned.
The Warclaw has some special abilities including Evade, Battle Maul, and Chain Pull. These can prove to be quite useful in a variety of World vs. World scenarios. It will be made available to everyone that owns Path of Fire. And if you don't yet own Path of Fire, you should check out our review to see if it's your cup of tea or not.
ArenaNet also notes that there is a nice week of double XP for World vs. World that runs from February 26 to March 5.
The core mounts are great and you can easily summon each depending on the situation. It's one of the better implementation of mounts I've seen in an MMO.
I originally stopped playing the game before any expansions had come out, upon my return i've picked up my alt who is level 32, i think i'm a long way away from having a mount.
And Path of Fire was great. Probably the most I've enjoyed GW2 at any point.
