Sony announced today that they're slightly tweaking the look of the PlayStation 4 with an upcoming hardware revision update. The CUH-1200 series for the PlayStation 4 will now boast an all matte finish and a couple other improvements.
The glossy HDD cover will now be an all matte finish. The consoles will be offered in Jet Black or Glacier White. When the system comes out in Japan in June (other regions to follow later), it will also be 10% lighter than the current model. On top of that, it will use 8% less power than the current model does.
This system will still include the 500GB hard drive. However, there is a 1TB alternative coming.
