Justin.tv Shuts Down

Justin.tv has shut its doors for good today. The once popular streaming site says goodbye for the last time while offering up a handy FAQ on migrating to Twitch.tv or other streaming services.

Why is Justin.tv being shutdown?

Justin.tv pioneered live video on the Internet and spawned one of the largest video platforms ever: Twitch. Justin.tv was officially renamed Twitch Interactive Inc. in February of 2014 and Twitch is now the focus of the company's resources. Unfortunately that means we need to shut down Justin.tv. We thank all of our broadcasters and viewers for 7 years of live video memories.

Don't worry about that any more because Twitch has introduced over 500 royalty-free tracks that you can use in live and archived videos. This simply means that your videos will not get flagged by the Twitch audio recognition system when you listen to these royalty-free songs.

Twitch Announces New Features at TwitchCon 2018 Keynote
