Rooster Teeth, Naughty Dog, Wargaming, and ASTRO Gaming are teaming up with gamers like you on May 17-May 18 to help raise funds for the military-focused charity, Operation Supply Drop.

As you can probably tell already, the charity tries to raise funds to send video game items to U.S. troops that are deployed in combat zones or recovery in military hospitals. The upcoming fundraiser for Operation Supply Drop is called "8-bit Salute" and begins May 17.
Fans will be able to log into the new Operation Supply Drop website to either join these teams or create teams of their own to raise funds for the troops, while having a chance to win a variety of prizes. More than a dozen additional video game developers and publishers will be fielding fund-raising teams, supplying donations and video games to ensure this year’s 8-Bit Salute is the most successful to date.

"Rooster Teeth is excited to grow the partnership we have with Operation Supply Drop as well as provide assistance to those who dedicate themselves to serving our country,” Rooter Teeth co-Founder Gus Sorolla, said. “Now that Operation Supply Drop has a local presence in Austin, we look forward to further collaboration."
