  • Far Cry Compilation Celebrates 10 Years of Crying Far

    To celebrate ten years of the Far Cry series, Ubisoft is going to release a compilation of games from the series. It will include Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. This compilation will be released only on the PlayStation 3 on February 11.

    Unfortunately, this will not include the original Far Cry. It does, however, include all of the extras released for the games it does include. It includes all single player and multiplayer modes. Ubisoft also claims that Far Cry 2 is a "full digital re-master" of the original. I don't know what that means in this context either.

    It will retail for $39.99 (USD).

        Earlier in the year, we learned that Tencent was teaming up with Ubisoft to create a new subsidiary studio. This new studio, this new Ubisoft, would focus on popular Ubisoft IPs such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.         Several upcoming titles are not headed to Steam.

        Remember how in November 2022, Ubisoft made this big return to Steam? Since the initial release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Valve's platform, Ubisoft released several other newer titles.
