That's one way to get people to play the campaign.

Activision announces that those who pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be able to play the entire campaign up to an entire week early. The early campaign access starts on October 20, 2022, with the game's official launch date not hitting until October 28, 2022.

This should give everyone a solid week to play through the single player campaign before the competitive multiplayer drops on the 28th. Activision says that "anyone who preorders a digital edition of Modern Warfare II will receive early Campaign access in addition to a host of other previously announced rewards."

The campaign will take players to various locations throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. You will be teaming up with Task Force 141 as you engage in underwater battles, encounters at 30,000 feet above enemy strongholds, and even some stealth focused missions.

Along with early access to the campaign, all digital pre-orders for Modern Warfare 2 include open beta early access and the Final Judgement Bundle. There are obviously some other perks included in the more expensive editions of Modern Warfare 2.

A larger reveal of all things Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will take place in September at Call of Duty Next.
