Tripwire Interactive released a new quality-of-life update for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. It's nice to see continued support for this tactical multiplayer-focused FPS despite being released back in May 2017.
Today's update isn't super substantial, but it does offer up some nice quality-of-life improvements for players. This includes some VOIP fixes, some bug fixes, and also adds in the ability to choose the audio input device directly from within the game. There's also a fix for a cheeky little exploit that let players have infinite ammo.
The 1.7.0 update was previously an opt-in only update that went up about a week back. It should be rolling out to everyone today though.
Naturally, as this is a new update for the game, Tripwire put all versions of the game on sale. Both the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition will be 90% off on Steam until July 26. Or rather, they will be on sale. The sale prices do not seem to be live at the time of this article going live.
